Hello! We are Matthew Cooke and Vincent Lund. We write for television, as well as our own original screenplays, and we direct short films and commercials.

Our TV credits include Casualty (BBC), Doctors (BBC), The Dumping Ground (CBBC), and The Coroner (BBC). We were commissioned to write a standby 2-part episode of Lewis (ITV).

We have original ideas currently in development: Hush for CBBC, The Bermuda Mysteries for Nickelodeon, and a live-action adaptation of Namco’s legendary video arcade game, Time Crisis. Our feature film script, The Lake, reached the semi-finals in the Academy Awards Nicholl Fellowship Scheme.

Our short films have been screened around the world (including festivals in Edinburgh and Athens). Highlights include Handle With Care, a half-hour film made with children in care, which won two RTS Central Awards, and our Christmas sketch Drunk Santa, broadcast on shows in Germany and Japan and has over 980k views on YouTube.

Our commercials and promotions for cinema, TV and online (which you can find in our Video section) include Shaken & Slurred, shown in cinemas across the UK. The advert won a Health Business Award for Best Publicity Campaign, while a hard-hitting advert campaign we wrote for the Northern Ireland Police Federation (for Tinker Taylor) won an RTS award in 2016.
